For over two decades, Scott has helped clients ranging from independent inventors and startups to multinational corporations build their IP portfolios. He works with clients across a range of technologies including microelectronics, batteries, oil & gas production, agriculture, and medical devices.

Prior to joining TraskBritt, Scott worked for Hall Labs, a technology development company in Provo, UT and for GEA Farm Technologies, a leading dairy equipment company in Naperville, IL.

Scott is a former chair of the Intellectual Property and Professionalism and Ethics Sections of the Idaho State Bar. During law school, Scott was recognized as Editor of the Year by the Idaho Law Review and was on the Dean’s List every semester, graduating cum laude
