Salt Lake City, Utah – August 3, 2017 – TraskBritt’s Managing Shareholder, H. Dickson Burton, was sworn in as President-Elect of the Utah State Bar on Saturday, July 29, 2017. Mr. Burton was sworn in by Matthew B. Durrant, Chief Justice of the Utah Supreme Court, during ceremonies at the Utah State Bar Annual Convention in Sun Valley, Idaho last week. Mr. Burton was elected by the attorneys of the State of Utah, and will serve as President-Elect of the Bar for a one-year term, through July 2018, at which time he will be sworn in as President of the Utah State Bar for another one-year term. TraskBritt congratulates Mr. Burton for this honor, and for his willingness to serve the legal community and the public in this capacity. Mr. Burton will also continue during this time to represent TraskBritt clients on a full-time basis.
