Dr. Srisiri received her J.D. from the Charleston School of Law, where she graduated summa cum laude, ranked first in her graduating class, while serving as an associate article editor for the school law review and working full time. Dr. Srisiri also holds a Ph.D. in Organic Chemistry from the University of Arizona and a masters degree in business administration (MBA) from the Citadel School of Business.
Dr. Srisiri has had extensive experience as a scientist and a business manager prior to practicing patent law. After receiving her Ph.D., Dr. Srisiri worked as a scientist at Johnson Polymer for three years before joining the Specialty Chemicals Division of MeadWestvaco Corporation as a senior scientist. Dr. Srisiri then worked as a market development manager for the Specialty Chemical Divisions of MeadWestvaco where she was responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, as well as working closely with in-house counsel to create robust IP portfolios for various new businesses, form joint ventures/LLCs, and divest non-strategic businesses. With the desire to understand areas of legal practice affecting the protection and exploitation of technology, Dr. Srisiri pursued her J.D. degree as a part-time student while maintaining her full time job as a patent agent working in the area of chemicals, material science, green technologies, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, and packaging applications, and now brings that expertise to TraskBritt and its clients.
